With emphasis on forming Christian Disciples, the Director of Faith Formation develops, implements, evaluates, and improves programming for students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade and their families. This programming is to inspire a relationship with Jesus, deepen the understanding and appreciation of our Catholic tradition, and encourage engagement in the parish community. St. Norbert & Our Lady of the Brook is a parish community that is mission-based, relationship-centered, and open to all. We all are called by God and inspired by the Holy Spirit to encounter Christ and make him known. Our four pillars—we belong, journey, celebrate, and witness together—guide our work.
The Director must demonstrate strong leadership skills necessary to identify, develop, and retain teams of paid staff and volunteer leaders critical to the success of parish ministry. The position reports to the pastor, serves on the Leadership Team, and supervises the Faith Formation office staff and over 50 catechists and programming volunteers for the 400 student K-8 program.
