Role Summary

As a key player in our operations, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This role includes fabricating, modifying, or repairing mechanical instruments, as well as maintaining industrial machines using your knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and machining procedures.

Shift Details: 1st Shift (Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm)

Your Responsibilities

  • Operate Equipment: Manage basic equipment and machines while performing routine tasks.
  • Operations Management: Execute operational tasks by adhering to established processes.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment through preparation and support.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow mandatory work instructions to ensure safety and environmental protection.
  • Operational Compliance: Adhere to quality standards and regulatory codes.
  • Precision Equipment Utilization: Use precision measuring instruments like micrometers and dial indicators.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances.
  • Internal Communication: Engage in courteous interactions with team members.
  • Policy Understanding: Work with guidance to align with organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5-7 years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment, operating manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.

Preferred Skills

  • Communication: Clear and effective verbal communication skills.
  • Planning and Organizing: Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Health and Safety: Knowledge of safe work systems.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
