We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist Interns to join our team at Genoa! This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic pharmacy environment. As a Pharmacist Intern, you will work closely with our experienced Pharmacists to provide exceptional patient care and support. You will have the opportunity to work at multiple Genoa locations in the Kansas City, Missouri area. Primary Responsibilities: Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects and interactions Solid focus on providing a superior level of customer service Data entry using pharmacy software Ensure compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Board of Pharmacy Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an accredited PharmD program Missouri Intern Pharmacist License or willing to obtain prior to starting employment Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered) Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation Legally authorized to work in the US without any restrictions. Proof will be required The hourly range for this role is $14.00 - $21.00 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
