\nHealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacist to fill an opening in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
\n
\n Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacist: \n

\n\t
• Fills prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy, packaging medications for dispensing and for delivery, meeting the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy\n\t
• Labels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels\n\t
• Participates in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy\n\t
• May check in drugs and supplies, stock shelves and remove out-of-date items from the inventory\n\t
• Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders and ointments, which may include non-sterile compounding\n\t
• Communicates with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner\n\t
• May process returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction\n\t
• Assists in the training of new employees\n\t
• Also performs at least one of the following:\n\t \n\t \n\t\n\t
• Works in the Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) Room;\n\t
• Works with automated machine to prepack drugs;\n\t
• Manages inventory functions such as monitoring pharmaceutical levels and identify expired medications, managing to the pharmacy standard for Days on Hand;\n\t
• Inputs patient data and medication orders into a computer system to produce labels (data entry);\n\t
• Mixes/packages IV medications, sanitizes IV room, equipment and hood\n\t
• Services facility-based medication dispensing machines (e.g., RxNow)\n\t
• Performs other tasks as assigned\n

• Required Qualifications for Pharmacist: \n\n\t \n\t \n\t\n\t
• Required: High School diploma or equivalent.\n\t
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and with medical terminology.\n\t
• Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations.  Not required in state of PA. \n\t
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred. \n

\n Preferred Qualifications for Pharmacist: \n\n

\n\t
• 2+ years’ experience as a Pharmacist in a specialty pharmacy setting\n
